Baseball Hall of Fame
The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum is a not-for-profit educational institution dedicated to fostering an appreciation of the historical development of the game and its impact on our culture by collecting, preserving, exhibiting and interpreting its collections for a global audience, as well as honoring those who have made outstanding contributions to our National Pastime.
Baseball Wax Museum
Come visit the world’s only baseball wax museum From Lou Gehrig to Abbott and Costello, Babe Ruth to Marilyn monroe, you’ll be literally inches away from life-sized legends of the game. All placed in historic settings. We have over 30 figures on display. We have 3 levels of terrific attractions including a virtual reality batting cage, Bloopers Theatre, Outdoor Food Court, Gift Shop and recreations of many of the most influential and important moments in baseball. The Heroes of Baseball beckons you with a unique experience of Our National Game.
Brewery Ommegang
In October of 1997, not far from the birthplace of baseball, ground was broken for what was to become America's most unique microbrewery. Based on traditional Belgian farmhouse architecture and set on a former hop farm in upstate New York, Brewery Ommegang was born with the philosophy that truly unique ales must be built from the ground up. Now brewing five award-winning Belgian-style ales and offering daily tours and tastings, plus a full calendar of special events, Brewery Ommegang is the place where brewing is an art and partaking is a passion.
Cooperstown Fun Park
Currently at the Cooperstown Fun Park we offer a twisting 17 car go-kart track, with 2 seat go-karts for the little ones. Bumper boats with seating for three for an enjoyable family experience, even for your young children. Also, we have a nine stall batting cage. The cage is complete with varying speeds from very fast to slow pitch softball. We offer a highly challenging yet fun 18 hole scenic miniature golf course. Inside the Fun Park, there is a vast arcade with a wide variety of games, and a pizza and ice cream parlor for when the summer hear gets to you.
Farmers Museum
In the fields overlooking Otsego Lake, in Cooperstown, New York, traditions of nineenth century rural life come alive for visitors of all ages at The Farmers' Museum. The Farmers' Museum features a 19th century village with more than two dozen authentic buildings from New York State. Our weavers, printers, pharmacists, blacksmiths, brookmakers, farmers, exhibits, and programming bring rural America to life.
Fenimore Art Museum
Fenimore’s 2007 exhibition season presents significant work within various themes of the American West, including dramatic landscape photographs by Ansel Adams, challenging historic representations of the Plains Indians, and influential Western works by Frederic Remington.
Fly Creek Cider Mill
Historic, water-powered cider mill on the banks of Fly Creek pressing fresh, sweet cider for 150 years minutes from Cooperstown, NY, home of the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Experience the MIll Marketplace's daily tasting of over 40 specialty foods including fresh fudge, aged cheddar cheese, salsa, apple wines and hard ciders. Tour the Mill and relax on the Mill pond observation deck with a farm-fresh lunch from the restaurant and bakery including ice cream delights and the famous cider float. Tours and tastings daily!
Glimmer Glass Opera House
Glimmerglass Opera came into being through the efforts of local Cooperstown residents—musicians, artists, educators, and amateur lovers of the art form—who hoped to bring opera to their community. As the founders wrote in the first season's program, "Cooperstown was chosen because of its glorious natural beauty and its important place in the heritage of America. We believe strongly that a performing arts festival belongs here; that the area is right for it, and that it is right for the area."
Soccer Hall of Fame
The National Soccer Hall of Fame opened the doors of its new museum complex on Saturday, June 12, 1999. The 40,000 square foot facility houses the National Soccer Museum and Hall of Fame, Kick's Zone, Kicks Zone Store, library, meeting rooms, atrium, administrative offices and a concession area.
