Chamber Membership Update Information
Dear Members – We wanted to give you a quick update on the Chamber’s request to the County for funding to help increase tourism. Although the original proposal was for $150,000, the Board of Supervisors agreed to give the Chamber $45,000 for the tourism program. Of that amount, $30,000 is to be used for a marketing study so that we can better target our audience. We are thrilled about the amount that the supervisors have awarded us and look forward to working very hard to increase tourism in Schoharie County. We also look forward to continuing to serve you, our members, and our community through our endeavors with business, including agriculture, education, government and tourism.I have attached a link to the presentation that we gave to the Board of Supervisors for your information. (It also includes the original proposal.)
